1) Make sure they guarantee the use of a Premium quality paint like Benjamin Moore Advance, Sherwin Williams ProClassic and the like.
2) How long will it take them? A good quality paint job on your cabinets will take a prime coat and at least two finish coats with sanding in between. If they say this can be done within three days, know how and why. If the contractor has the proper set up with a good sprayer, it can be done if they know what they are doing. This is a project where you deserve to get what you pay for.
3) Ask them about the reinstallation process. Why? If they fail to mention they will label the hardware (hinges/handles) and not reinstall them EXACTLY where they were before, the installation runs the risk of failure. The result - crooked doors and loose handles.
